Davao City

This city is located about 946 kilometers southeast of Manila. Nearly ten percent of the city area is used for residential, institutional, commercial and industrial purposes. This city is considered as a typhoon-free city, and the climate is characterized by rainfall, humidity and even temperature.

The highest mountain in the Philippines, Mount Apo, can also be seen from Davao and the sanctuary of one of the largest eagles in the world, the Philippine eagle.

The inhabitants of the city of Davao usually speak Cebuano or Visayan dialect. Many people from different parts of the Philippines migrated in this city, especially the people in the Visayas region. Most of the inhabitants are Catholics, there is a considerable number of Muslims and other Christian religions.

With its current economic growth, Davao City is considered one of the cities of the future, not only in the Philippines but also throughout Asia.
