Honda Bay is a large bay with numerous islands and shallow reefs bordering beautiful beaches where you can swim or dive in a tropical paradise. It is an interesting day trip from Puerto Princesa. Access to the bay is from the pier of St. Tagbanua Lourdes, 12 km from Puerto Princesa, and to reach it you can take a multicab (minibus) with the inscription St. Lourdes at the junction of the main road Avenida Rizal (costs 20 P). Once on the landing to go to the small tourist office in it and hire the bangka to tour the islands of the bay. There is a minimum rates are preset and P 1180 for a tour of a maximum of 3 islands to choose from. We must also pay 18 port P rates. Finally it should be noted that some of the islands have to pay, in theory, entry to land and stay on the island (25 P Pandan Island or 40 P in the Starfish, for example), although we we do not pay either.
